About Me

As a writer, reader, and a dabbler in various other forms of art such as poetry, painting, and drawing, I am constantly seeking to see the world–and myself–with new eyes.

In the real world, I am a wife, mother of two, and a librarian–but not the kind who shushes.

  1. How did I not know you had a website??? You are so damned wise and I will forever think of you as my mentor. I owe so much of my personality to you and other teachers in GH it’s not even something I should laugh at anymore (but I do anyways…).

  2. Hello, Sarah

I am looking for a Sarah McElrath from my 1978-79 fifth grade class in Isfahan, Iran. Although you look a bit young, I thought I would reach out just in case!

    Regards

  3. Oh the mighty rabbit hole strikes again! But this actually was quite a fascinating discovery!! I was trying to get into an old iCloud account & needed an old phone number to verify. So I thought I’d be clever and just google my name. When I saw your website, my first thought was someone had to have made a website about me!! Because the writing, reading, creating & poetry are all VERY MUCH my personal favorites! So I’ve been stalking your website for over an hour and I plan to come back to it later as well… Just wanted to say Hello to my name twin!! Keep being amazing!! Also gonna be looking for your published work!! Oh… I am currently writing my first book!! Must be a Sarah McElrath thing 😉 Love & Light ✌🏼

  4. Hello Sarah. I have just visited your site and am amazed at your work. I have done graphic design work for the Muskegon Museum of Art for many years and that is how I am connecting to you as I have had some conversations with Kathleen Parker and Lori McElrath-Eslick.

I was wondering if you might be interested in collaborating with Lori at my church’s gallery in Grand Haven. The Atrium Gallery has been exhibiting beautiful art – 2-D and 3-D for over 15 years. I have dreams that this could work for both of you. Please email me back with your thoughts.
