So every now and then I get a chance to play around with some magnetic poetry. I like it because it seems somehow less… threatening.
I know, I know–writing should never be threatening. And yet, so often those perfectionist gremlins start talking and I–
well, I get scared that what I write won’t be “good enough.” Magnetic poetry is a great way to get over that fear. I have limited word choice. I’m not trying to get it published. It is just PLAYING. It is a great way for me to remember why I write–because it is fun. When it isn’t agonizing.
Life is full of oxymorons.
