Poetry for me is a way to unblock–both as a writer and as a person. I rarely bring my poetry to writing group because I want it to remain something that I don’t take too seriously, something just for me. So, while I don’t mind sharing some of it, please keep in mind that I do not consider myself any sort of good poet.
